Amaya has many meanings; Heavenly Valley in Japanese, Pleasant Place in Basque, Night Rain in Arabic, and Earth Goddess in Sanskrit. For us, Amaya is about giving others the opportunity to reconnect with nature, and in turn, themselves.

ABOUT

We all need a place to escape to. A home away from home, that can rejuvenate our wellbeing and recharge our inspiration. For us, a balance of nature and community is the secret to a fulfilling life. Amaya’s residences sit harmoniously within the surrounding environment, but also integrate with each other to form a sense of community and belonging.  It’s a lifestyle that we aspire to, so we created it in a place close to our hearts.

INSPIRATION

Amaya’s aesthetic, and ultimately its purpose, is a result of our direct experience interacting with the region’s communities, vernacular architecture, nature-based activities, and urban, natural and rural landscape

RESIDENCES

Amaya’s residences are in perfect integration with the unique natural environment, with a seamless indoor-outdoor flow that captures the breeze, the light, and the breathtaking views. From the sanctuary of the one bedroom to the flexibility of the 2 bedroom, to generosity of the 3 bedroom, each style of residence strikes an artful balance between private sophistication and relaxed communal living.

Amaya Kampot

KK COMMUNE

The focal point of the Amaya community is the welcoming, multi-purpose KK Commune. Emerging discreetly from the trees, this spacious community center provides social connection, essential services, and recreational opportunities for the residents and their guests.

LOCATION

Defined by its tranquil river, the local area offers appreciative travelers a rare communion with nature, relaxation, and a simpler way of life. Amaya is located close to the heart of it all, nestled on the slope of Phnom Kamchey, one of the initial foothills of the Domrei Mountains. The homes look out across lush durian plantations to the meandering river, the nearby town of Kampot, and beyond to the sea.
